Guide to understanding employees' MFA status

On the Push platform, MFA status reflects whether an end-user has registered for multi-factor authentication.

You can find MFA registration data for each employee account on the Accounts page in the Push admin console.

If an employee has not registered for MFA, you'll see a status of "MFA not registered" on their account details.

If an employee has registered for MFA, you can also see a list of their authentication methods.

MFA registration vs. enforcement on Microsoft 365

Note that On Microsoft 365, users can register for MFA, but an administrator also needs to enforce MFA before the user will be prompted to use it.
